Student Council received a Thank You from the Make-A-Wish Foundation:
Our contributions went toward a young boy, age 7, who is battling leukemia. He had to postpone starting Kindergarten for a year due to his treatments, but when he was able to attend, he was fascinated to learn about the solar system. He took a trip with his family and met astronauts, learned about space travel and got to experience the beach and enjoy the ocean!
Shoutout to all of our community members who contributed to this amazing cause :)
Thank you for helping to make a young child's dreams come true!!!

✨Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST)✨
Congratulations goes to our own Becky Schueth who has been named a State Finalist for this award!
This is the highest honors bestowed by the United States government specifically for K-12 science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and/or computer science teaching. Awards are given to science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and/or computer science teachers who have both deep content knowledge of the subjects they teach and the ability to motivate and enable students to be successful in those areas.
Mrs. Schueth is currently teaching high school mathematics here at SRC. This is her 11th year at S-RC and I teach Geometry, Technical Math, College Algebra, PreCalculus and Calculus. Becky has 20 years of experience in teaching and she began her career at Columbus High School. Mrs. Schueth Bachelor’s (2005) and Master’s (2009) degrees are from Wayne State College. She enjoys sharing her excitement for math with her students each day!
When you see her, please make sure you congratulate her on this incredible achievement! We are all proud and rooting for you!
