Our high school wrestling is off to a great start after going 3-0 at the Clarkson-Leigh Quad!
Two highlights on the night-Justin Knoll defeated the Class D 160lb #2 Urkoski (H. Plains) 5-3 in OT. Eli Fjell defeated Class D 220lb #4 Topp (Winside) 9-3. Congrats and nice start!
Jr. High Boys fall in their opener against Cross County in both the "A" and "B" games. Have some time off and will play East Butler next.
Husky girls Jr. High basketball gets the Dubs last night. Both "A" and "B" teams get it done! #DubCity Nice start ladies!

🚨ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL🚨 - The games on Friday, Dec. 2 at Cross County will be VARSITY ONLY (6:00/7:30 pm) - The games on Saturday, Dec 3 at Twin River (Genoa) will be as follows: JV Girls (2 quarters) @ 1:00 pm, Varsity Girls 1:30 pm, Varsity Boys to follow.
ATTENTION JR. HIGH WRESTLING ATHLETES AND PARENTS - Please check your emails. I have given you more information about the lengthening of the wrestling season due to weather. If your wrestling athlete isn't going out for basketball, you may disregard as the season will continue.
Due to several schools not being able to make it to York for district unified bowling, York has decided to postpone the meet until Wednesday, Nov. 30th at 10 am.
Activity Update: with the cancellation of school, since the unified bowling meet is in a district event, they WILL be going to their district meet. All other activities & practices will be cancelled or postponed. This includes the Jr. High wrestling meet & girls basketball game.
Shelby-Rising City Public Schools will NOT be having any school today due to the ice accumulation and the radar showing more ice and snow on its way. Thank you and stay safe if travel is needed.
Since today is a NSAA event, the Unified Bowling team will still leave at the same time. Please take your time getting to school and be careful.
SRC is having at 10am late start to begin our day. Busses will run accordingly and there is no morning PK. Thank you!
