District Quiz Bowl @ Central City
Hooray! We received a @caseys Cash for Classrooms Grant for our entire elementary school to make magic happen through a One School, One Book event. Books and packets will come home on March 24. Can’t wait to get started! #HereForGood #SRC1s1b21
🚨TRACK FANS🚨 - The March 19th Indoor track meet at Concordia (Seward) is only allowing 20 athletes per school and NO SPECTATORS will be allowed.
Shelby - Rising City will be hosting a Pancake Feed in conjunction with their Member Auction and Silent Auction event on Saturday, March 20th beginning at 8:30 am. The Member Auction will begin at 9:30 am. We will be serving pancakes until 11:00 am. Everyone is welcome to attend!
Reminder to all High School Track athletes that practice will begin at 3:00pm tomorrow instead of our regular 4:00pm time due to school dismissing early.
Congrats to the SRC Speech team for their great day at districts! They placed 3rd overall at sweepstakes & the following students are state bound!

Shelby/Rising City Public Schools will dismiss at 2:45 PM on Friday March 5. Our staff members will be receiving their first dose of the Covid vaccine.

Reminder to all Track and Field athletes that our season begins tomorrow, March 1st, with our first practice! All athletes must have a physical on file with the school in order to practice. We're looking forward to a great season! #rollskies
Feb. 27 Activities
Speech @ McCool Invite 8:00 am
-Public Speech Performance 7:00 pm (USE DOOR 9). Please check flyer for assigned rooms. Spectators are to remain in one room for the entire night.
🚨SPEECH FANS (DATE CORRECTION) - Spectators will be allowed to attend the speech meets this Saturday, Feb. 27 AND next Wednesday, March 3. Both meets are at McCool. If rooms get too full, spectators still may be asked to step out of the room by the judges.
Congratulations to Coach Wilton, Coach Blackburn, and the SRC Speech team who competed in Hampton today at the CRC Competition and are coming home your CRC Champions! Awesome job!
The boy’s golf season begins next Monday! There will be a golf meeting tomorrow right after school, Thursday, February 25th, in Mr. Riggs’s room (704) for those who are interested. Hopefully, the snow melts here soon!
Calling all Huskies! There will be a high school track and field meeting tomorrow, Thursday, February 25th, for all students interested in competing in track and field this spring. The meeting will start after school at 3:55pm in the West Gym. Let's get stronger and faster!
