⚾️Registration Reminder🥎 This is a reminder for SRC Baseball/Softball Sign-ups. A registration sheet was sent home for each of our K-5 students. 6th grade & up has forms in the front office. The registration packet is attached to our social media sites as well. Registration is due by March 12th & can be returned to the school!

🥪Lunch Change for Today and Tomorrow🥪 Due to weather yesterday, we have a change to our lunch for the end of the week: Today (3/6) is hot ham and cheese, smiley fries, peas, & fruit. Tomorrow (3/7) is, PBJ Uncrustables, baby carrots, chips, & fruit. Thank you!

⏰️Early Out tomorrow (3/4)⏰️ Due to anticipated high winds & snow around 4pm, we will be dismissing our students early. Elementary dismissal is at 1:15pm & MS/HS is at 1:27pm. There will be no afternoon PK or evening activities. Thank you for your flexibility.

We're seeking a passionate and skilled Industrial Technology Teacher to inspire students at Shelby-Rising City Public Schools. From our Shelby and Rising City Fire Departments: 2/27/25 2:49am FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST NEBRASKA... The National Weather Service in Omaha/Valley has issued a Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from Friday afternoon through Friday evening. * AFFECTED AREA...Butler, Seward, Saline, Jefferson, and Gage Counties. * TIMING...From Friday afternoon through Friday evening. * WINDS...Northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 19 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible Red Flag Warnings.
